MEASURES SURFACE TEMPERATURES QUICKLY AND WITH HIGH PRECISION WITHOUT DIRECT SURFACE CONTACT. Use it in the kitchen to instantly measure the surface temperature of food (e.g. meat), firebricks, wood-fired oven walls, grills, pizza stones, oven walls, hobs, frying pan and frying oil, fridge and freezer. (Also suitable for detecting heat loss, leaks and inadequate insulation in your home. Check the air conditioning system or measure the temperature of heaters and vents).

DOUBLE LASER FOR PRECISELY LOCATING the measuring point. ADJUSTABLE EMISSION DEGREE from 0.1 to 1.00 increases the measurement accuracy for certain materials and surfaces. The operating instructions contain a table with emissivity levels for various materials. AUTOMATIC SWITCH-OFF after 7 seconds. The last selected settings for laser, backlight, °C/°F, and emissivity are saved, even after the device has switched off.

SCAN FUNCTION FOR CONTINUOUS MEASUREMENTS AUTOMATICALLY RECORDS MAXIMUM VALUE, MINIMUM VALUE AND AVERAGE TEMPERATURE. As long as you keep the measurement button pressed, the device is in SCAN mode and allows you to measure an area instead of just a single measurement point. The last maximum, minimum and average values are saved and are retained after switching off. The LOG function can be used to conveniently save several measured values (20 measured values are saved manually).

AUDIBLE HIGH AND LOW ALARM. Two alarm values can be set and if the measured temperature exceeds one of these threshold values, the device warns with a beep. You can use this function when a material is to be heated or cooled to a certain temperature. For CONTINUOUS FREE-RANGE MEASUREMENTS, the automatic switch-off can be disabled. This allows you to continuously monitor a target area without constantly pressing the measurement button.
